Gambit Premium Format Figure

When I saw this character, I always loved it whatever it takes. In my opinion, Gambit is the best and handsome character ever in X-Men. I realy like him, that is why I liked to post about Gambit eventhough already post the Gambit Fine Art Statue by Kotobukiya version. Now I like to share another gambit statue, The Gambit Premium Format figure with the stunning looks of the classic MARVEL character.

This statue have another backstory from the previous Gambit statue, maybe the difference is only from the way it written. Remy LaBeau, better known as Gambit is an orphan that growing up on the streets by the Thieves' Guild of New Orleans. He is a wanderer with his mutant ability to charge objects with explosive energy and also as a master thief. He use his ability using his kinetically charged playing cards and telescopic bo staff, his power was so great that it was often uncontrollable.

Gambit made his journey and mixed up with another mutant until he met Storm, a member of the X-Men, who took the outlaw to Professor Xavier and sponsored his induction into the X-Men. There he fell in love with Rogue, a tormented relationship that would resurface time and again in the years to come. This Gambit Statue will perfectly matched with Rogue Premium Format Figure, just like the picture below.

The Gambit Premium Format Figure is individually painted and finished to exacting standards, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product. The hand-tailored fabric costume features a wire-hemmed coat for a customizable display. Every Gambit figure features two interchangeable portraits, representing the changes in Gambit's appearance through the years. The Interchangeable head with long hair made a calm and collected expression. But the second one with short hair and cigarette made a slightly more aggressive expression.

Growing up on his parents' farm, Piotr Rasputin learned that he was a mutant and could transform his flesh into steel. He was content to use his powers to help his fellow farmers, but when a transformed Piotr rescued his sister Illyana from a runaway tractor, he was approached by Professor Charles Xavier. Dr. Xavier recruited Piotr to a new team of X-Men and named him 'Colossus', and together with the other new members, The Colossus freed the original X-Men from captivity on the island of Krakoa. After the battle, Piotr remained with the X-Men in America. As a member of the X-Men, Colossus and his fellow mutants faced seemingly endless battles against the likes of the evil mutant Proteus, Doctor Doom and Belasco.

Later, Illyana joined her brother Colossus at the Xavier mansion, but she was kidnapped and trapped in the demon realm Limbo. She returned to Earth as the adolescent sorceress Magik and went home to Russia only to be captured by the Russian government and used as a weapon against the mutant Soul Skinner. Colossus saved her and brought her back to America, where she fell ill and was killed by the Legacy Virus.

Disillusioned by her death, Colossus abandoned Xavier's dream and joined Magneto's team, the Acolytes. Magneto's base was later destroyed by Holocaust, and Colossus became a member of the British super-team Excalibur. When the team disbanded, he rejoined the X-Men whose resident scientist the Beast had created a cure for the Legacy Virus. He offered up his own life to spread the antidote, and once the world was rid of the infection, he was revived with a new will for life and resumed his work with the X-Men.

Rogue Premium Format Figure

Toys and Hobbies would like to present this addition to the Marvel X-Men figure line - Rogue Premium Format Figure. The most recent to join Sideshow's cast of X-Men Premium Format Figures is Rogue. Each piece is individually painted and finished, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product. Featuring a real fabric costume following Jim Lee's design, the X-Men's southern belle is likely to intended for the gloves to come off. Whether from her powerhouse punch or her delicate kiss, there is no doubt about it... Rogue is a real knockout.

Rogue's mutant abilities are both fantastic and tragic. Able to for the moment absorb the memories and powers of others, she is one of the most powerful mutants of all. Due to the nature of her power, however, she is unable to allow her skin to make casual contact with with anyone else, as she learned in her first kiss. A juvenile runaway from Mississippi, Rogue was taken in by Mystique and Destiny who raised her to be a part of their criminal exploits and a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. On her first mission, Rogue used her mutant talent on the heroine Ms. Marvel, but unable to fully control her powers, Rogue absorbed Ms. Marvel's memories and powers permanently. Although she gained super-strength, near invulnerability and flight from the encounter, she too became flustered above her lack of control. Rogue quickly realized she was a danger to others and sought the help of the X-Men who took her in and made her a member of their team.

Bowen Marvel Professor X Statue

Charles Francis Xavier was born the son of nuclear researcher Brian Xavier and his wife, Sharon. A cruel and spiteful boy, he bullied his new stepbrother. As punishment, his father secretly beat him - and young Charles felt his sibling's pain firsthand thanks to the emergence of his mutant telepathic powers. Following their mother’s death, a fire in the family home took Kurt’s life, leaving the stepbrothers alone. By the time he graduated high school, Charles was completely bald as a side effect of his mutant nature. He entered Bard College in New York at age 16 and earned his bachelor's degree in biology within two years.

He was then accepted into the graduate-studies program at England's prestigious Oxford University, where he earned degrees in genetics and biophysics. There, Charles met and fell in love with a young Scotswoman named Moira Kinross. Their passionate discussions on the subject of genetic mutation gave way to romance, and they planned to marry. Their only obstacle was Moira's former boyfriend, Joe MacTaggert, a lance corporal in the Royal Marines and a bully, just like Cain. In Joe's eyes, Charles was a good-for-nothing intellectual, so Charles enlisted in the military after completing his studies at Oxford to validate himself in terms his rival would understand.

Charles Xavier has a dream where Mutants and Humans live together in perfect harmony and peace, as equals. His long-time friend, Magnus does not believe this is possible. Professor used his family's fortune to build a school for the ever-growing mutant community, to teach them to use their new found powers safely and with responsibility. In order to fight for the dream he believes to be the future, Charles put together his team of X-Men, named not for Xavier's moniker, but for the gene in Mutant DNA that enables them to have their powers. Alongside his X-Men, he strives to defend and protect the humans that would otherwise be targets of more violent factions of mutant-kind.

Born with psychic abilities, he is arguably the most powerful telepath on the planet, often sending out the psychic call to the team: To Me My X-Men! Charles has powers such as telepathy: able to read minds and project his own thoughts into the minds of others within a radius of 250 miles (on Earth). With extreme effort he can greatly extend that radius. When synced with Cerebro, he can connect to every mind on a planet. Whether or not this also relates to all sentient lifeforms or specifically with Humans and Mutants is not known. After he was thrown into the M'Kraan Crystal, it not only restored his mutation, but made his telepathy more powerful than it has been previously, thereby making him the world's most powerful telepath once again. There are still much more ability that he possessed.

The Professor X statue is sculpted by Khurram Alavi and stands just over 12" tall. It is the best statue for Marvel collector especialy the X-Men family because he is the founder and the leader of X-Men. Gambit Fine Art Statue by Kotobukiya

Still in toys on the form of statue, I would like to share about another great marvel characters. I've written a post about the front-line of X-Men, Cylops Modern Statue. This time I show you about one of the members of the X-Men, he is Gambit. For those who followed the comics and televisions series of X-Men,, should be familiar with this gambler. Well this product is called Gambit Fine Art Statue by Kotobukiya.

Next up in the amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series is the renowned Cajun thief and mutant hero GAMBIT!  Born Remy Etienne LeBeau in New Orleans and kidnapped into the Thieves' Guild, Gambit had to grow up tough and clever.  Of course, his mutant powers also helped; he is able to charge objects with bio-kinetic energy.  Gambit keeps an array of items with him that he can use in battle, but his signature weapons are his staff and a seemingly endless supply of playing cards.  Despite, or because of, his troubled past and occasional relapses, Remy is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe and an X-Man in good standing.  Being a member of the team means that Gambit has seen his fair share of training exercises in the Danger Room.

Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, "X" teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways.  The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film.

Always confident in the face of overwhelming odds, Gambit shows he's ready for action in the midst of a particularly harrowing training session. Garbed in his unique metallic blue, purple, and silver costume, the X-Men stands tall in a battle-ready stance with his signature brown overcoat whipping in the air behind him.  Gambit carries his two favorite weapons with his bo staff in his right hand and a trio of playing cards fully energized (via a stunning translucent pink effect) in his left.  The mutant hero's sculpt is top notch, bringing to life every element of his clothing and his athletic physique.  Gambit's wild hair erupts from the top of his open-faced cowl, while his face captures the character's devil may care smile perfectly.

Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the "Ragin' Cajun" stands 11 inches tall, in perfect 1/6th scale. Gambit is poised on a unique Danger Room holographic environment base. Actualy this is my favorite character. If you are interestid with this statu, be sure to pre order this item before it's released time. Please go to 1999 Hobby Search for further information.

Cyclops Modern Statue

I love X-Men, of course I also like almost all the superheroes characters from the Marvel Comics. That is why Toys and hobbies blog will discuss each member of the X-Men figures soon enough and will start from the front line leader of the X-Men. We know that Scott Summers has been at the forefront of the battle for mutant equality and to save humanity from the depredations of evil mutants from the first day of X-Men. Now the heir to Professor Xavier's vision of a world where humankind and mutantkind can live together in peace, Summers leads the X-Men as Cyclops, It is because of the ruby-red visor he must wear to keep his mutant power from the concussive energy shot from his eyes.

When he still young, Scott Summers endured a traumatic head injury after his family's plane fall down. Only Scott and his brother Alex survived the crash, and as a findings, Scott was unable to control his mutant powers himself. Because the death of their parents, The two boys was separated. Alex was adopted, but Scott remained comatose in a hospital for a year. Scott found himself was placed in an orphanage in Omaha, Nebraska, which was secretly controlled by his future enemy - the evil geneticist Mister Sinister.

Eventually, a teenage Scott came into the foster care of Jack Winters, a mutant criminal known as the Jack O'Diamonds. After Scott began to suffer from severe headaches, he found out that lenses made of ruby quartz can solve the problem. Soon after, Scott's mutant power first erupted from his eyes as an uncontrollable blast of optic force. The blast demolished a crane, causing it to drop its payload toward a terrified crowd. Scott saved lives by obliterating the object with another blast, but believed he had tried to kill them, bystanders rallied into an angry mob, and Scott was forced to flee.

Winters sought to use Scott's newfound talent in his crimes and abused the boy when he initially refused. However, Scott's display of power had attracted the attention of the mutant telepath Professor Charles Xavier, who teamed up with F.B.I. agent Fred Duncan to find Scott. Scott was rescued from Winters' clutches and enlisted by Xavier as the first member of his newly formed team of young mutants whose mission was to bring about human/mutant equality. Becoming known as Cyclops, Scott was made deputy leader of the team - the X-Men.

Cyclops possesses the mutant ability to project a beam of concussive, ruby-colored force from his eyes. Cyclops's eyes are no longer the complex organic jelly that utilizes the visible spectrum of light to see the world around it. Instead, they are inter-dimensional apertures between this universe and another, non-Einsteinian universe, where physical laws as we know them do not pertain.
This non-Einsteinian universe is filled with particles that resemble photons, yet they interact with this universe's particles by transferring kinetic energy in the form of gravitons (the particle of gravitation). These particles generate great, directional concussive force when they interact with the objects of this universe.

Bowen Designs presents this Cyclops Modern statue standing approximately 12 inches tall. This classic marvel statue is sculpted by Khurram Alavi (digital sculpture). These high-quality, detailed collectibles feature your favorite Marvel characters as they appear in a wide range of comics. The Cyclops Modern Statue is sculpted here in great detail, intricately crafted and cast in heavyweight polystone. This museum quality collectible is the perfect addition to any Marvel collection!
