Figma Kamen Rider Dragon Knight

Kamen Rider series sure rampant everywhere, not only the films series but also in the action figures. I am one of the KR fans and realy loves to make a post about it. Started from my post about S.H.F Kamen Rider OOO TaToBa Combo, I want to continue to write about rider series. This time I will make the Figma Kamen Rider series for the post. This is the second post of Figma labels from my latest Figma series : Figma Rei Ayanami Plugsuit Ver. Well maybe I was too late, I realy did not know about Figma KR series being released. Because I was vacuum almost 2 years from this hobby, I still just though that KR series still on S.I.C and S.H. Figuarts.

When I saw this series, I though this is Kamen Rider Ryuki series, but I was wrong. This is the USA version that called Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. You know that Kamen Rider was born in Japan, and we all know USA has made their version too with the same design but different story and the KR name. Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight is the Daytime Emmy Award-winning American adaptation of the Japanese tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Ryuki, the twelfth installment of the Kamen Rider Series. This series started official broadcasting on January 3, 2009 and played throughout the year. It chose to adapt Ryuki over the other Heisei Rider shows as it has a large number of characters (Ryuki had 13 Riders in total) as well as a female Rider.

From the little explanation, this Figma KR series will have 13 riders from Dragon Knight series. For the first time, it is Figma Kamen Rider Dragon Knight who has to be the main Kamen Rider from the story. The figure stands at least 13cm tall, it is a little shorter than S.H.Figuarts Kamen Riders. From the picture above, The DK (Dragon Knight) holds his card to transform or using weapon based on the card type. Every rider have their own card too, and this DK was put a contract with the red dragon to transform him into Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

What are the most enjoyable from this toys is the articulation. You can pose it anything that you like, of course you can pose it like in the films too. With stand base you can made DK to perform a rider kick. Max Factory has also made the awesome headsculpt although the paintjob was a little poor. The KR body is made of hard plastic, and it have layers of soft vinyl wrapped around it, it makes the chest area a little bit soft.

Well look at those accessories, this is the best part from this action figure. You will get 4 types of interchangeable hands that help you to make an awesome pose. It also contain one Drag Claw, one Drag Visor, one Final Vent Card, one Drag Saber, one clear plastic set and a plastic ziplock bag.
